HAMIRPUR TELECOM
BILLING SCHEDULE
Effective from 1st May, '99, the DoT has introduced
changes in tariff for local calls, rentals, Trunk calls, STD/ISD calls
etc. As a consequence of this the entire billing schedule is being
revised. The salient features of the new billing schedule are :
- Bi-monthly bills will continue to be issued to all subscribers.
However, instead of 1st & 11th of odd/even months the bills will
now be issued on 11th & 18th of odd/even months.
- Bills issued in any month will reflect the call charges and rental
for the preceding 2 calendar months.
- Rentals will be related to the calls made in the preceding 2 months.
For Hamirpur urban subscribers it will be Rs.380/- if the number of
calls made during the period is 400 or less including the free calls.
The rentals will be Rs.500/- if it is greater than 400 calls.
- For rural subscribers the rental amount will depend upon the system
capacity.

For Urban subscribers
- First 150 calls - free.
- 151 to 400 calls - Re.0.80 per unit call.
- 401 to 1000 calls - Re.1.00 per unit call.
- 1001 & above - Rs.1.20 per unit call.
For Rural subscribers
- First 250 calls - free.
- 251 to 450 calls - Re.0.60 per unit call.
- 451 to 500 calls - Re.0.80 per unit call.
- 501 to 1000 calls - Re.1.00 per unit call.
- 1001 & above - Rs.1.20 per unit call.
- Trunk Call rates have been revised. It will be Rs.5/- plus the `STD
charges' for the destination for the actual duration rounded off to
the minute. Concessional tariff as it exists to-day will continue
to be available. Warning `Pip-pip' Tone presently given at 3 minutes
interval will be withdrawn.
- STD/ISD tariff (pulse rates) have been revised and concessional
tariff for ISD calls have been introduced.
